So I check D3RMT almost once a day but lately it seems like there is not alot of action. I miss this site being filled with guests/members etc. Well anyways I'm still playing D3. Picked up a new account when they had the sale for $40 since my old account, well its a long story and yes I still have it. :) Right now I'm currently 43 Paragon, farming MP8 with a HoTA/WW build and no +Exp % besides helm. (Bulldozer is sitting at 96 Paragon)
If anyone wants to group up etc, I'm fine with that. Just put your battletag in here and I'll add ya! |
Where is everyone? :)

I had a bunch of family visiting for my university graduation but I've been playing with my 0-dog WD occasionally and it's pretty badass. Upgrading gear is insanely expensive though :/

Hit me up, farming MP10 mostly but sometimes MP8 for speed runs with my WD.

I think there are a lot of guys still lurking, and HC seems to be active still, but general conversion is down.

What's there to talk about? That's my problem. I explored every archetype in every class I cared to and I haven't seen anything written about new builds since the first week after 1.0.7 dropped. Everyone knows everything about every mechanic. Every route was mapped out.
My stash space is so full, I couldn't make any new builds even if I wanted to. I had been running all 3 acts anyway so the monster density buffs didn't really make a big difference for me. (Wait, there's an Act 4? Did they add that since I stopped playing?) The gold duping fiasco was the last straw as I feel Blizzard absolutely needed a server rollback. The SC AH went bananas. Even before that, the items available in the AH were already so powerful that the probability of finding something worth enough to upgrade any of my characters was already zero. There are/were so many people farming at MP10 that item and XP farming at MP4 seemed particular pointless. That said, if the new itemization creates a dozen new builds across all of the classes, I'll be back to try them out even if I do have to sell off equipment from some favorite builds to do it. In short, after many hundreds of hours, Diablo 3 finally got boring for me. It helps that I also found other games to occupy my time like Bioshock Infinite and Dishonored. Sad to say, I don't really miss Diablo, either. Happy(?) to say, I'll be back sooner or later. |

I am still playing D3 religiously, a couple of hours a day.
99.99% of the actions is at Hardcore though (the 0.01% being a one minute test of lag at SC when the game first loaded for each of my gaming session). At Hardcore the economy is less attractive now, compared with pre 1.08, since now generally players live longer with co-op. Brims is down from 400k to 50k and tomes from 30k to 9k. The gameplay/ playstyle of "you only live once" (except NDE/ SV) is still very appealing though. |

I'm still here. More as a voyeur than anything else. I still play a couple hours a day, give or take. I am interested in doing a few MP10 ubers if anyone is interested. Msg me ingame and if I am in front of my computer (I stay logged in most of the time, inactive) I would love to do a run or 2.
I have about 11 machines in my stash at the moment. The Stanley Cup Playoffs are taking up alot of my time!!! (Not to mention the kids, work, and life in general. We all have priorities ;) |

I tried something new on my Monk. It works good enough to justify the gold I blew on it. I built a monk that focus on reduced spirit cost for Lashing tail kick. As you guys know I apparently have a "reduced cost" problem. ;) Anyway, my build is lashing tail kick at -19 cost (5 from Mara, 5 SOJ, 4 Skull Grasp and 5 from wpn) with Scorpion strike rune. All the rest of my gear and skills are just focused on Spirit regen. With this build I can stun lock quite effectively. I played some MP10 with it, but my DPS is only in the 75K region so it was hard. But on MP6 or so I had some fun with this wackadoodle build.
I took some time off to play Starcraft 2, and XCOM:Enemy Unknown. And while doing this I also didn't miss Diablo at all. Didn't even bother to log in for AH or anything. But then I came back and I'm now as hooked as before. |

I have gotten into watching Castle lately. Monday-Wednesday there are like 5 episodes that air each afternoon and I need to watch as many as I can so that my DVR does not fill up. Once I make a good dent in my DVR, I can continue playing.
Right now I am playing all the way through the game on MP5 (I think). I am currently in Act II looking for parts of Khulle. After I am done with that, I am going to run some more MP10 ubers. |

Stupid question, but if you are able to run MP10 ubers shouldn't a MP5 run through take like 5 minutes to complete? |

I am actually playing on MP7 and I am not doing a run. I am playing through the entire game and I am exploring every dungeon and I am killing every enemy. I just killed siegebreaker last night. I am looking forward to my battle with Azmodan. When I do MP10 ubers with people, I am often the weakest hero in the party. I do my part though. I often end up reviving fallen team members because even though I can't take huge hits, I have so much life regen that I can run away, regen some health and then come back. When I put my uber gear on I have over 250,000 DPS and if I sacrifice some all resist (but gain vitality) I can get up past 270,000. |

I play a lot but all Hardcore. I check the site daily, but stick to the HC section.
