So if you haven't heard/read the news:
Blizzard is increasing RMAH gold from 10 mill now to 50 mill per stack. If prices stay at .25 a stack, it will turn into 5 bucks for a nice Billion. 100 bucks would equal 20 bill. A few of us have bought up a good chunk of Radiant Gems for the hopes of them turning from 20-30mil per to 90+mil. My suggestion on this whole matter? If your ok with spending real life money, after patch goes live, buy gold/top quality items before the are removed from the GAH/people grow smart. |

This actually won't impact the auction house too much. If you remember when Radiant Gems were the way to get the most gold per $, this is just a way to avoid having to do the math. I like what Blizz is doing: Keeping the prices where they actually are, and not creating a price floor that prevents quick sales.
Prices will likely hover over $1 per 50m for a while. |

I did do the odd calc and gold wasn't overpriced but it was heading that way.
It just sucks that there will be only shite on the GAH, if you want a decent item you have to sell your gold for blizz $ and buy on there. |

According to the threads in the official form, gold is leveling out at about 1.00 per 50 million.

No! The smallest amount of gold you can buy is 50 million for whatever the price currently is. That price can go no lower than 25 cents. |

Ok then I must admit I'm confused, I logged into the AH and set for one stack of 50million, its coming up at $1.07 which seems to me to come out to just over 10,000,000 per $0.25.
Am I missing something? |
