The crafted legendaries are not that good hence the price is going down quickly - the hype is gone.

So I decided to sell off 75 brimstones yesterday BEFORE the patch hit for about 30 USD after tax. Listed them, 10 minutes later they sold. 5 minutes after that, Blizzard emails me saying they are cancelling the transaction for security purposes of both parties and all items and money will be refunded. I'm thinking OK... I'll just go list them again. Check my completed tab, only 23 brimstones were returned to me. Submitted a support ticket around 24 hours ago, still no response.
This is just outrageous, it saddens me to see the prices plummet so much, and literally all of my invested gold going down the drain due to Blizzard incompetence. |

We wanted to wait till 10PM to start to make sure prices were atleast somewhat normalized so that we could give accurate data for todays average once the hype for the patch was gone.

Prices are now updated and it looks like all the legendary plans are dropping in price very quickly (including brimstone) and all forms of rubies are still selling strong.

that's true, but there is so much supply, from the old legendaries not yet salvaged, and all the people who speculated like crazy (so many were so sure prices would skyrocket and made it sound like a sure deal) not to mention those who bought more now to average down. these people sitting on losses will always be ready to sell as soon as prices rise a little. it seems to me this kinda works like the stock market. you have to get rid of all that supply before you can hope for higher prices. |
