Infernal Machine Bosses

How hard are they? The main question I have is for anyone who has tried, are they doable on MP 10? I'd like to make sure those organs drop, so I'd like to hit them on MP 10, if possible. Are they easier in a group or solo? My strength level: I can pretty much obliterate MP 4 and handle MP 5 pretty easily. Anything above that is too slow or I die too often. If you guys don't hit them on MP 10, what MP is feasible?

I just read they're going to nerf damage for all monsters (larger nerf at higher MP) so I'm probably going to wait for that. I have 1 machine for anyone interested...

Currently I don't think MP10 is feasible unless you have the best of the best gear... Tomorrow that might change.

I wish I had learned of the monster power level change before I just spent 2 machines today.

Mp5-6 is my preference so far, and tomorrow that will be an 80-90% chance of organ drops.

@Anuiran, the only change I see coming is the reduction in Monster damage, particularly from monster abilities. How is that really going to change things? Now the monsters are only doing 371% of base damage? That still seems pretty friggin dangerous to me. I admit a lot of my current trouble comes from mortar damage (and reflect damage from my Sentries killing me), but I seriously doubt I'll jump from barely clearly MP4 to breezing through it.

It's about a 25% damage reduction on every MP level which is pretty substantial. It will make things easier for me atleast.

I was an idiot and tried to solo MP5 siege/kulle combo. One machine wasted. But it was fun!

i've only done 1 uber run, and it was with @anuiran... i think i died like 50 times (25 by mahgda's stupid flies... 1 shot)
so far only 1 organ :(
but now i got some exp on how it goes so hopefully it'll be easier the next time around

@Euggie those little flies, so hard to see, and they do tons of damage! I've died a few times to them as well.

@Khan I have tons of trouble with reflect (I really on timing my bola shot explosions and bursts of multishots while I use lingering fog). Thus that match, is a killer for me. I atleast use the stun bola, and keep kulle occupied for everyone. I couldn't imagine it solo.

If it makes you feel better when others learn from your mistakes, knowing that you can't solo MP5 mean I probably can't solo above MP1-2 :)

Anyone try the bosses with the reduced damage yet? What's the highest, reasonable MP level for them?

I curious to know too! Sadly, I will not be able to do any testing myself until tomorrow. In the mean time, I'm relying on you guys to fill me in with the good news!

I might try them later today with a friend. I'll let you guys know how it goes if I do.

MP1: 109.60% (down from 114%)
MP2: 120.12% (down from 130%)
MP3: 131.65% (down from 148%)
MP4: 144.29% (down from 169%)
MP5: 158.14% (down from 193%)
MP6: 173.32% (down from 220%)
MP7: 189.96% (down from 250%)
MP8: 208.20% (down from 285%)
MP9: 228.18% (down from 325%)
MP10: 250.09% (down from 371%)

MP5 was reasonable for me in groups of 100k+ dps so I presume MP7 should be reasonable

Just owned A3 Stonefort keywarden (Xanax the Filthpit or whatever its name) on MP5. Usually I die at least once on MP5 from the battle. This time no death.

It actually looks like they also fixed him specifically :

"The following changes have been made to Xah'rith the Keywarden:
He can no longer spawn with the Illusionist or Fast affix
The damage dealt by a number of his abilities has been reduced
The movement speed reduction applied by his Cold attacks has been reduced
His size has been slightly reduced"

seems they nerfed him quite a bit...

Anyone have an opinion on which pair of bosses are easiest?

I can handle MP5, but generally cruise at MP2 for faster farming. I have two keys already - the act 2 and act 3 keys.

I usually use my wizard, of course.

Ghom/Rak hands down for CM wizards. With 2 well geared CM's in between those two bosses (the wiz is the meat in any sandwich), they stay perma frozen while your high dps crew bukkake's them.

+1 for the accurate information
upvoted for the bukkake reference

Been doing MP7 ubers lately. With a well mixed class, a must is a wizard and a high dmg barb. Wizard keeps them on ice and barb takes the hit for glass cannons. I'll usually spam the hell out of them with my bears. We went through all 6 ubers last night on MP7 in a matter of 15 minutes, I've never seen it so fast.
