I'm curious to see how the community gears their followers.
What class do you play and which follower do you use ? Do you use your follower for dps, cc,mf or exp ? |

My crowd control Scoundrel can be found here.
VERY low DPS but he keeps things frozen during MP10 runs with my wiz. If I'm doing regular archon farming on MP3, then I use my Templar with GF and MF gear, a Hellfire Ring, and a Puzzle Ring |

For my wiz, I gave my enchantress the grand vizier and some MF and GF on ring and amulet. the gold drops are significantly better but not sure on the magic drops in terms of quality...quantity maybe.

I like using the enchantress with a maximus and a bunch of int/vit. She's got almost 8k sheet DPS, very rarely dies, and the demon is almost always out tanking and doing extra damage. Force push does really nice damage, but when I'm playing a freeze WZ I use charm instead so she doesn't push them out of my range. Erosion on the other hand still works really well.

My Templar - an MF and XP mule, in addition to the important Inspire skill which provide my monk with +12% spirit regen to fuel the perma Tempest Rush.
Enchantress - never quite like her. She talks a bit childish and too much. Scoundrel - when I do not need Templar, he helps in my CC and DPS (not shown in his gears - but I have a couple of attack speed rings and ammy with attack speed, a bow with CC proc in stash) |

I only mute vocals and music (I play my own too), but I still like having the sound effects (plus it's nice to have the legendary noise as I don't notice the mini map ping too well). |

Guess i never really paid much attention. I use the templar but more for cc purposes. Just having 1 more guy out there to keep the baddies off me. Between him, the dogs and garg I'm pretty set. Its been a long time since I've been killed - probably close to a month or so, and I have almost no repair costs as well as I hardly get hit. Mehh, it works for me.
I've been thinking about possibly using the enchantress as she equip that leg sword I found which has the demon summoning on it, or going after the scoundrel for the freezing. Not sure what to do as I think I more need to focus on getting my damage up first. |

The default crit chance is 0%, but you can use jewelry or a shield with cc and they will get the effect. |

How much do you want for that EF that you use on a follower?? Hahahaha.
I use Scoundrel on my Barb, gives more overall dmg to me. Heard its the best. Standard gear, Hellrack to cage em, HR for +exp. |

i mostly use enchantress with mf gear and the +IAS but i found a sun keeper and the templar now has higher mf, but no IAS boost, so i still use enchantress...
should i be using scoundrel for the added cc at higher mp?
what? no.. why would he have it on a follower?! |

If the IAS would put you over the next breakpoint, she will help more than the scoundrel. Otherwise, he'll be best for freezing/CD reduction. Personally, I prefer her for the armor anyway.
