What's your favorite class in hardcore?

The amount of DHs in HC is pitifully little. There is only two DH in the top 50 paragon on diabloprogress and one of them is already dead. The upside is weapons are really cheap because they are hard to sell. I love playing DH but still haven't made it to 60 after 4 tries.

WD for sure. Fun to play, has pets that can tank, and spirit vessel is so useful.

I like the barb, it was my first softcore 60, and it's still really fun in hardcore, and safe too.

I've had a lot of fun (and no real close calls) with my hc barb in act 1 inferno so far. It's certainly the obvious and safe choice, but I have always played ranged classes and just find it a nice change to be honest. The one thing I find lacking is friends all want to play melee (usually barb) in hc as well so I always feel like everything is much slower than if we had a few damage dealers around.

The addition of rend being a viable skill has also really made barb shine in hardcore for me. I had stopped playing it for a while because I was afraid of losing it to a stupid mistake in act 1, but so far with revenge + rend healing me 90% of the time + my constant loh going with frenzy I've felt incredibly safe. I can't lie though I feel pretty lame for not choosing a more exciting class for hardcore. Once I level my sc barb to max paragon I will probably try a diff class in hc (I have all classes to 60 in sc).

I love the Monk. You have so many defensive abilities, and also such short cooldowns.

I definitely didn't enjoy my DH, kiting is good and all but the ohko from most inferno mobs is just too much. Monk all the way!

Witch Doctor obviously. You have the overpowered Spirit Vessel passive, Grave Injustice passive, and Spirit Walk (Jaunt).

Wizard is my favorite on softcore and well, it is still my favorite in hardcore, sometimes kiting things around can get really boring, but it is easy to do and the rewards are great.

I prefer Witch Doctor. I feel like he's one of the safer classes to play, because of his pets and skills like Spirit Walk and Spirit Vessel.

WD and Barb are just the best survivability characters I have tried in HC. Demon hunter has to build very meaty and sacrifice alot of DPS and I've honestly never gotten a wizard or monk past 40 so I can't comment on those.

I have a lvl 60 and lvl 59 DH corpse.
And I have a lvl 60 monk that finished inferno solo. So i'm going with Monk is my favorite
