Last Friday night I played for less than 6 hours and I found 8 legendaries. My previous best was 3 legendaries in one play session.

2 were crap and turned into brimstones.
5 of them have sold on the GAH.
1 is a Visage of Giyua that I am still trying to sell for more than 40,000.

My best item was an Echoing Fury with good damage, life steal but no socket.
I also found a decent Tyrael's Might chest that didn't have any sockets.

I am looking forward to seeing what will drop for me tonight.

3 for me. The oddest time was when I got 2 depth diggers in the keep depths lvl 1 on the same screen while archon beaming about 50 skeletons. It was like <Schwang> <Schwang>! (yes, that is the sound I interpret the legendary drop sound as)

Running MP10 Act 2 normal for Leoric's Signet results in a lot of Legendaries over time. I managed two go 2 full runs without any (aggravating) and then found 3 in twenty minutes on the next run. If you want a quick thrill, go back to normal MP10 with max MF. 2-6 Legendaries per hour.

Drives me nuts to think there are people capable of doing something similar in Inferno MP5+. I try not to think about the fact that I'm competing with them for space in the Auction House.

It gets better. Once you get into the high, or higher paragon levels you wont be driven nuts so much haha. My wizard is Plvl 79 right now and when I do runs on it I usually get at least one legendary a run, sometimes two. Those runs take me about 10-15 minutes depending on what MP I do it on. It's definitely not on MP5 though. Nobody should farm on that level haha.

Three is the most I've ever found in one go, they all turned out to be pretty meh but one of my alternates was able to get a slight boost from one of the weapons I found so it wasn't a total loss.

I don't know how it managed but for some reason between me and a friend on MP2, we dropped at least 10 legs in 2 runs, and throughout the night probably at least 30 legs dropped. It was literally every 5 minutes something dropped. I think we glitched the system somehow. A few of them good, most crap, but still impressive to drop that many legs at once. We still continue to run together because of this but the luck isn't AS good.

Once had 2 Legendaries drop from a single Goblin and then found another 3 within 10 minutes. So 5 in one run.

On the subject of what has dropped a legendary I have the following anecdote.
I found a Vile Ward last night that was hiding inside a Demonic Chest in Arreat Crater Level 2. Some people choose not to open small chests like that, but I always do.

2 today, while doing mp0 a3 in public games. both crappy though. most ever is 3 in 1 run, i think. (prob 4 with a key, but not really sure)

I remember an epic run a long time ago where I found 3 legendaries. 1 of them was forgettable, but the other 2? Tal Rasha's Allegiance with 8.5% CC and a Zunimassa's Trail with 75 AR and 90 vit. At the time, they sold for $150 and $75 respectively. So like $225 worth of items in one run.

Haven't found much since then. The number of horrid legendaries (Ivory Tower, Gidbinn, Maximus, Tzo Krin's Gaze, Fire Walkers, Sledge of Athskeleng, Ageless Might, a bunch of others) has been staggering. I probably find one legendary every 15 minutes, but it garners no excitement from me. I even skip some that I already know are going to be crap.

that is a pretty epic run with tal's ammy and zuni boots
why skip? thats like leaving a heap of gold on the floor in the form of a brimstone no?

Best was 3 in a one run - but then i'll go days without.

6 for me on normal mp10 in act 2. Ran VoA then oasis. 3 in VoA including Leoric Sig. Then 3 in oasis.


Recently lvling in HC had 2 drop in normal AC lvl 2.

Two days ago I had five in an hour.

Gavel of Judgment.
Hellrack with STR.
Gladiator Gauntlets.
Strongarm Bracers.

All within 30 minutes in an aimless A1M2 run.

Subsequent A3M8 keyrun gave me an Inna's belt with low dex and 20% MF with the KW kill.

I hate that freaking Hellrack so much. I have yet to get a Manticore but I always think I have when a Hellrack drops. With my MF I think I could get some really nice rolls on a Manticore.

One night i was one fire and was averaging about 6 through 3 runs! Currently my drop rate for legendary is about 3 per hour.

I found 4 in about 2 minutes, 5 if you count a key. Killed a goblin in the oasis who dropped a horrible bow called Hope or something, then ended up pulling the keywarden and 2 packs right after killing the goblin. All those mobs dropped an IK weapon, Bullkathos ring, Ivory Tower and also a Key. Was awesome to see all those legendary lights and sounds, not so awesome that they all sucked.

3 in one run is my best as well. Sadly not one of the three is worth remembering.
