I feel the need to reach out and cry....

I have been very busy for the last 2 days and had a very small window of opportunity to come home and put up some items on the AH.

one of the items i put up was a set of gloves.

+56 Str
+56 Vit
+26 physical res
AS 6
CD 29
CC 7.0
PU Radius +7

..... in my rush i didn't realise it was these gloves i had put on the AH but another pair next to them.....
Put a buy now for only 750k.....

So gutted when i got home and checked that today......

Sigh..... Read all my items before trying to rush them. Lesson learned.

i haven't had that happen to me, but someone put up IK armor on the wrong AH (GAH instead of RMAH) and it was a buy out of 250.... gold

I was recently selling a socketed Grand Vizier for which the lowest buyout was around 900,000 gold, and cause I wanted to sell it quick, I threw it up for 850,000 gold. Unfortunately, in my haste I somehow missed a zero, & it was gone for 85,000... :-0

hopefully with the new AH system (commas), these kinds of events will not happen as frequently...

Lols i can honestly say that this has never happened for me at all.
I'm such a noob when it comes to buying and getting good deals on the AH.

i'm also terrible at it as well, the only luck i get is through drops, great but not godly.

bought a 1.3k socket hellion xbow for $200 usd in early 1.03 time, inactive for a few month, came back at mid 1.04 and it has turn to worthless trash .

Oh? is this in PTR? I haven't played it but didn't see anything in patch notes.

They could do SO much to improve using the AH and its interface, it's pretty frustrating!

I'm not sure if this is a bonafide tale of woe, but I bought some boots with Dex and cold resist for 7m, sold for 12m, and then found them relisted for 23m.

Still sitting on the AH though, so that makes me happy.

The price is really subject to who is really willing to pay it. Though because your one had quite a bit of int in it, some people are willing to pay it for a lot more than 100m.

I wouldn't really pay over 100m though for one with under 50 vit. I was looking yesterday at some which had over 100 vit and 250 int... sillily enough they are listed from 250m-650m.

Then again, hardly play lately so not really sure what the market is doing at the moment.

It frustrates me when i see items listed for hundreds of millions... what percentage of people actually have that much gold?
I'm sitting on round about 40 mil and that's from small random sales and finding/selling gold in game.

Sigh... still ... could have been setup properly to at least 80 - 100mil if i had looked properly....

Its tough with rares, but anytime you get a legendary item, print screen, crop and put up at imgur then share here - BEFORE YOU SELL. If you get something that rocks somebody will let you know.

Reminds me of a wand I thought I got a great deal on. Back in the day, the old wand I used to have was a 950 or so DPS int, vit, socket black weapon that I used for Archon and was in the market to finally upgrade it as I'd been using it for ages. As I was looking through the auction house I spotted a bid on a wand that was only like 3 million at the time and I thought at the time that I could easily get 20 million for it. So I eventually won it for 5 million and was really happy...until I found out it had poison damage on it. Big glass breaking moment there when I realized that was why the thing went for so cheap and I put it back up for 5 million right away haha. It eventually sold and was happy and then a week or so later I was looking at wands again and I saw it make up for there like 8 million, so some sucker probably did the same thing haha.

Also, as for my old wand, I won it for about 600K a long time ago and ended up selling it for 8 million :D.

Bought an Inna Helm for 13m. When I was done with it, I relisted it for 1.3 million instead of 13 millions. My first and ever mistake in counting zeros.

Ouch. You did what I did w/ that Grand Vizier, but on a much bigger scale...! :-0 I feel your pain...

I forgot to post this the other day. The RMAH/AH was having some hiccups apparently...I almost fainted.

Hmm have one too. Was going to bid 8.5 million on 6% light, 27% bonus to elites, 11% hungering arrow,9 max Disc SOJ. Instead put in 85 million gold bid. Bought for 44 million. Don't think it's worth close to that. Some idiot probably drove up the price. It's impossible to sell back cause dumbass blizzard didn't make it a searchable item.

You would be surprised how efficient the SoJ market is. It moves slowly, but I flipped low end SoJ's for 2 weeks before getting bored of it. If you go to "all armor" and add 20% min bonus to elites, and 0 Disc (because it's on cloaks), you'll get only DH SoJs so it's not too difficult to find them. Anyone seriously in the market for a good SoJ knows how to find them and you have a ring that would interest a serious buyer.

SoJs briefly spiked in value on the official Blue Tracker acknowledgement that players were supposed to be treated as Elites in PvP. You might've gotten caught by that wave.

On the other hand, +11% Hungering Arrow is very tasty on a SoJ as the max possible is +14% and there's only a 1/13 chance that a DH ring rolls with Hungering Arrow in the first place, so it's a very rare item on that roll alone (~1/200, I think). If you add in a great 27% Damage against elites and you have an extremely rare ring (probably close to only 1 in 500 would drop better. Taking the stats together it means a whopping 44% bonus to Hungering Arrow damage on elites. It's a very good ring for PvE and a ridiculously good ring for PvP if you find a use for Hungering Arrow.

If you're patient and find the right buyer, @rimmi2002, you may or may not get your full 44 million back, but there's no way you're taking a bath on it.

Thanks. Makes me feel better. Will keep trying to post it. I meant you can search all DH skills when looking for SOJ, but not possible to search for HUngering arrow or elemental arrow. Not sure if I am missing something to find these particular rings. I think blizzard forgot to include these for armor. Only present for quivers. My other thought was to hold on to the ring till 1.07. Might be a gamble.
