Wow I just did the stupidest thing in Diablo 3 history and got scammed out of 100 million. Guy was selling awesome Mempo for 100 mil with 190 str and crit, so I obviously agreed to trade thinking I would make 200m profit off of it. He puts it in the trade window, I put in 100 mil and accept. He cancels out and is acting all pissed because he thought I only put in 10 mil. Then of course in the next trade, he puts in a shitty Mempo and for some stupid reason I don't even check it before hitting accept again. Watch out for this scam - I should have known better!

@arpger Oh wow, I'm sorry that happened to you, but when he cancelled the first trade you should've been alerted. That plus the fact he was selling the crit mempo for cheap. Thx for the heads up though for ppl who don't know about trade scams like this.

That sucks man. That's an old D2 scam the guy used on you. Lesson learned. Maybe you can report him. He must be doing this regularly.

Yeah I wanted to create a ticket about it, but I'm sure it would be a waste of time since I did technically approve of the trade. In retrospect, it was so obvious that the guy was playing me, but I was distracted and not thinking straight. The best thing to do now is make that gold back!

Ugh....I somehow accidentally posted a [Legacy] Sage's Grasp last night w/ 451 armor, +41 Str, +143 Dex, +166 Vit, +27 Arcane resistance, +201 armor, & cc7.5% for 247,435 gold (after Blizzard's cut)... :-0 Which reminded me of this thread... :-(
