Crafted about 20 or so bracers and got these, probably around 9k+ dmg and 80 AR up from my Strong Arms I was wearing.
 Needless to say I will certainly be crafting more of them... |

 8th try or so. Not bad. If the CC was 5.5 or 6, I would have creamed myself. I'd say bracers are the easiest to craft (in terms of getting consistent decent rolls). The primary roll is already going to be BiS, so it really just needs to hit some form of vit, AR, and CC. The possible rolls are also pretty narrow, so if it hits CC, it's only going to go to 6 for BiS. Contrast this with gloves, which can hit CC up to 10, CD up to 50, and AS up to 9. So even if you manage to hit a trifecta, it could be something kinda blah like 5% AS, 28% CD, and 7% CC. Amulets are really tough to craft. The sheer number of different affixes that can be rolled means that A LOT are going to be crap. Yeah, it's possible to roll that triple nine trifecta ammy, but the probability is going to be infinitesimal... I'd say a lot of people are going to use crafted bracers because of the higher probability of success as well as the huge jump in max primary. Bracers (excluding CC Lacuni Prowlers) are probably going to drop in value. I think gloves will be stable between crafts and AH. Good trifectas are still really hard to roll, but they'll still beat the current trifectas. Gloves will probably hold. I think amulets will be overvalued in the short term. People might get really excited looking at the BiS crafts that they will undervalue current ammys. Given the cost and the sheer rarity of crafting these top amulets, I think most people are still going to end up using AH amulets. I think it's a good time to scour AH for undervalued amulets. Just a little note: for DPS, look for high CC, decent CD, primary, and high average damage. These tend to be the best "bang for your buck". I got the amulet I currently use for like, 25M, and on a DPS basis, it beats most trifectas. The cheapest DPS boost I could find was over 100M and we were talking like, 2-3k DPS more. I don't think one should craft shoulders or chest. |
