OMG Spirit Vessel popped!

I entered this Field of Slaughter. I didn't farm in a straightline, mine has a lot of "S" lines to ensure maximum coverage of the field without repetition. There was a hill/ cave at the north, I didn't go into the cave but I was running the hill from the east, then circling it in an anticlockwise fashion. When I reached the other side of the hill I saw this elite pack. Waller, Frozen etc. So, no big deal right? As I was running into them I also see another pack closing into me from the east. They must have been at the south of the hill while I was circling at the north.

Most of the time I can kill two elite packs without reading their affixes. So I thought no biggie. First pack laid some walls and freeze balls. I walked around. Then "boom" (or whatever sound it was), I was KNOCKBACKed! The 2nd pack has this affix. Back into those walls with freeze balls. Spirit walked. Trying to find an exit. Not sure what was hitting me but my HP pool is reducing quick. Dogs down. Spirit Vessel popped. Heartbeat raced to 100. I run and run back into Rakkis Crossing, made a portal, visited the healer, and IDing my rares while waiting for my Spirit Vessel coodown.

Lesson learned (I would never learn this when I go for speed in Act 3): Farm slower lol.

Also looted my 6th Key of Terror. Together with 6 keys from each of Act 1 and Act 2 I would be able to make 6 IMs. That means I won't visit Stoneford for a long time. I am still waiting for 1.08 to start farming keys in Act 1 and Act 2 though :0

Did about 11m XP in 15 minute run of my MF route. I think this is quite decent considering I do not have additional XP bonus (topaz instead of ruby in helm, no Hellfire ring).

Act 3 MF route:
1. Cursed lvl1 - check shrine and elites
2. Skycrown for quick NVs
3. Damned lvl1 - check shrine and elites
4. Rakkis Crossing backwards, up to skyglass quest if it is there. So far gotten 2 legs from the purple guy there.
5. Fields, skip caves
6. Keep 2, go Keep 3 if convenient
7. AC2.

I thought I was going to lose my WD for sure.................the screen froze for a few seconds when I was spirit walking up the stairs after killing a pack, and I know that there are some white mobs up there. I pressed escape nonetheless, which didn't work because the game was frozen.

After those few seconds, I suddenly see the call-out screen when escape button is pressed, and I can also see now there was a pack of blue elites charging in my direction. They must have been the one causing the game freeze, or I was the one because I spirit walk too fast into a new pack?

When the game is frozen, pressing escape button once does help.

This is the place I was talking about, where the game froze when I rushed up the stairs into another elite pack.

Just now, no game freeze. As I was walking up the stairs, I see this elite pack up there. Then suddenly some BLUE BIRDS dropped all over me at the stairs. I see disco lights everywhere.

I survived at the end. If any of the packs has a Waller affix and put them down while I am in the stairs, I think there is a good chance of me saying RIP.

Game froze at Skycrown, just a few minutes into game after this hotfix for WD exploit. Prepared for the worst, but survived after I used task manager to end D3. Not sure if one hit of [esc] and waited for at least 15 minutes saved it, or simply because those white mobs couldn't do enough harm before they were killed by my pets and follower.

Nevermind. Monk just died to a bug. Fighting mobs. Tried retreating, but kept taking damage. Died with nothing near me half way across the screen from where I was fighting. It's fucking bullshit.

Sorry to hear about that. Sounds like a lag? (edit: maybe it is a bug)

Luckily you still have an OP WD. Before Blizzard change anything with the DC shit, stay with the dogs and the Gargantum. Get Enchantress with Maximus too. They are your best friends when a lag happen.

I have experienced lag & freeze before, and sometimes I still play when the indicator turns orange, although I play more carefully i.e. no spirit walk into a new pack!

We could also do some joint runs and watch each other's backs, if the timing is good.

P(58) is full of double elite packs. In one of the run I already encountered 2 elite packs near the WP when I was checking for shrines + elites at the Tower of the Cursed 1.

Found this Templar Relic. Thought it was quite cool. The missing stat is AR.

Reached P(60) after 146 hours played.

DPS = 90k, + 26% SoJ with +4% Acid Cloud CC
EHP = 350k
Pick Up Radius = 33 yards
MF pre-buffed = 300 capped (i.e. = 400% in MP1 after 5NVs)
GF pre-buffed = 240

Most Expensive item = WH (99m)

Looking forward to Patch 1.08, feel that I had enough of delivering spyglass to the dude up there (got 2 legs from the purple guy there), and those Green Maniacs. Time to collect 6 keys from each of Act 1 and Act 2 and get some uber going.

Max Block % (34), and max reduction from both melee (6%) and elites (7%). After comparing the likes in AH, I was going to list it for 50m for those perfectionists out there. There is another similar one in AH for 79m with 33% block, and 6% reductions but with perfect roll on AR (80).

If you are interested let me know. We could trade it for like, say, 15m?

Impressive finds... what's your overall MF?

Currently MF overflow at +300% capped.

Starting P(43), I replaced Ruby in helm with Topaz and had +273% at that time, looted 42 legs prior to this change.

I didn't bother with +MF at early paragon levels since the early P are gained super fast, hence the concern at early P would be to reap the XP fast for paragon progression. Once I had the speed & DPS (&EHP of course for HC) for efficient farming, I can just do max MF cap. I didn't purposely go for MF items though (except the Topaz gem), some lucky AB crafts with MF helps with that.

It is a great temptation to switch back from Topaz to Ruby in helm when 1.08 hit, but I think by that time I should still be able to maintain +300% cap (additional MF from P levels progression, also from my spare shoulders with +20% MF).

Tip : Kill monsters, in mass, in a short session, in consecutive sessions, fast between sessions. Repeat.

Sometimes Acid Cloud is bad.......

Keep 3 - room with big Tremor

Usually I just shoot open the door using poison darts, then keep spamming Acid Cloud until OOM, then rush in and finish the dirty job. The big tremor usually would be feared at the wall and it was just an easy cleaning job.

When I rushed in, a few walls fell on me..........can't move and I could see fire burning. WTH?? Oh, my Acid Cloud opened the other door and there was a elite pack there.

I knew my luck would improve if I don't portal to town and stash the leg everytime I found one....bad practice! But they do look like brims to me before ID so the downside risk is minimal :)
