For shoulders I want/look for the.following affixes.
200+ stat
All resist
Vit
Life per second.

Anything else is just gravy on top.

Last night.

Two in quick succession -

Promise of Glory. [x] High Dex [x] AR [ ] Vit. Status : junk. With Vit, a few mil. Without, 20K.

Mara's Kaleidescope. Had a WD skill affix (something related to Ghost Bomb I think), decent Int, 200 Dex, some AR, and nothing worthwhile. No IAS, CC, CHD, LOH. Searched on the Int and AR stats and found similar Amulets for 1.1M, so I posted it at 500K to get rid of it. Had the instant-snipe occur and the money in the stash almost before I released my finger from the Enter button after posting it. Have fun flipping that, botter.

An hour earlier in the day though -

Zuni Marrow. 200 Vit is the most notable stat about it. Low end otherwise. It technically would be an upgrade for me over my current tank chest, but there's no point in me keeping it since I won't bother trying to get a Pox ring that has CC, IAS, and LOH (is that even possible?). Closest matches on Int/Vit/AR is 70M. Posted at 60M with no nibbles yet.

I've found 19 legendaries since the patch, and 15 out of those 19 have been weapons...

*sigh*

Personally, I think all but the best Vile Wards are overrated. The reason I say this is because Vile Ward cannot roll life %, which regular rare shoulders can. Shoulders are more of a defensive item anyway since they can't roll things like AS, CC, CD, or damage. The shoulders I have now have 137 dex, 68 vit, 54 FR, 75 AR, and 6% life. There are pretty much no Vile Wards that can compete with these shoulders defensively.

Ultimately, the only Vile Ward I would want has to have 200+ dex, vit, FR, and AR. These are uber rare and cost hundreds of millions.

My shoulders have 160 dex 157 vital 60 FR 20 MF. I remembered picking it up very cheap, could be just a couple of millions.

Found this yesterday. Seems like they need more damage (in addition to the two sockets) to really be worth a lot but it still made my day :)

They can roll life %. They are just horribly overpriced.

Keep in mind, you do not have 1000 vit, therefore you could get more vit out of a pair of shoulders with just 128+ vit instead of 68 vit and 6% life.

I know because my shoulders are a barb equivalent of yours (70ish vit and 9% life).

Sorry, what I meant was that they can't roll vit, secondary resist, AND life %. Rare shoulders can.

128 vit would be slightly better than 68 vit and 6% life, but mine also have near perfect resist (54/60 fire and 75/80 AR). In addition to the 137 dex, I haven't found better shoulders in terms of dex and EHP for under 50 M.

First set item ever and it's a good one. Dropped off a white critter in Act2 MP1:

Perfect strength roll, near perfect AR and a socket puts it near the top of base stat, too.

@ecocd my Barb is interested.

I'm a little confused. Can someone explain to me what +1 Random Magic Property I got on my crap spear?


I figure it must have rolled a min or max damage mod which means the damage rolled wasn't very good, in the first place. I'll to give it to anyone who wants to try out a throw barb. Damage and strength are decent and +48% to weapon throw damage makes it a good "try it out for fun" weapon. Just try to pass it on to someone else that wants to try it when you're done with it.

It's been a very slow few days for me. I've put a good amount of hours in and have found 1 legendary in the last long while.

I'm doing mp3-4 at 360mf-400mf and just nothing. The legendary I dropped is helpful though atleast.



I don't stack lightning, but I do use fists of thunder.

Hey, at least you didn't find Inna's weapon like I did!

Just got some Strength/vit/crit chance lacuni prowlers.

I will miss the resists and pickup radius my old bracers had, but I'll do without.

Well, the last 48 hours have been relatively kind to me. I have found the following:

Wizardspike
Nat's Embrace
IK's Tribal Binding (belt)
Calamity
Crit chance Stormshield
Thing of the Deep (a WD frog thing lol)
Tal Rasha's Guise of Wisdom

The best sale so far has been the Calamity which went for 7.5 mil. The rest isn't doing very much unfortunately/

i wasn't sure about these either... i put it up for 5m and it sold instantly...
