I think it would be a good collective to post your hellfire rings in a single topic to see what kind of stats are possible to spawn on a hellfire ring.

In reality these rings are only worthwhile until you hit Plvl 100, after that using one of these rings wouldn't make a lot of sense since obtaining a rare ring will be far easier and probably better than going through getting all the keys and fighting the uberbosses over and over.

Having one on the follower as well as wearing one can boost your leveling by a vast amount, making it worthwhile at least obtaining 2

Working on getting a second for a follower now. Lost one machine to a bad public group. Then did 2 more runs at mp5 and was not able to get either of the two drops I needed.

@Mindlessone Not bad as far as Hellfire Rings go.

So what's the feeling of people that have now collected a half dozen rings or whatever? Is it worth running for them again and again? Is everyone going to get bored with the game by the end of next weekend? The Keywardens have good equipment drops on top of potentially dropping Keys so it seems like they'd be a natural part of farming runs now anyway.

Unless something significantly changes, after my 2nd ring I'll just do a key warden as part of an Act's respective run and collect keys for group infernal machine games. Other than the EXP add, the ring is rather unspectacular and some set rings far exceed it. For instance, I'm working toward a Zuni/Nats combo with Zuni Pox on one hand and a Nat's Reflection on the other both with attack speed. Add in the Zuni Marrow and the Nat's Bloody footprints and you have some serious set bonuses. Sporting a Hellfire won't overcome those bonuses in my opinion.

I don't have a 2nd because I can't get that Fang...Organs are so finicky sometimes.

I'de agree there. Takes tons of work to get that perfect ring. I'm trying to take Gnawol's advice and have one for myself and the follower...but I can't get the Kulle/Seige organ to drop.

After the 2nd, I'll eventually make more machines through the process of grinding, so might do an uber run here and there for fun. (maybe having one of each chosen main affix wouldn't be bad for alts)

That's a [filtered]ing awesome ring. I wouldn't say MF is unlucky either.

It looks like lvl 62 CC and CD on that ring. It's probably top 5% of all Hellfire rings rolled, if not top 1% or 2%. That's a Hellfire ring that's actually legitimately wearable for all but the most elite players. I think he meant the amount of MF as 14% is a relatively low roll as far as lvl 63 rings go.

That ring is pretty beast. I'd say if it was an AH rare ring (without the bonus exp, of course), it would be worth 50-100M. So it's not going to beat 100M+ rares for pure DPS, but you're wearing it for the bonus exp. More importantly, hitting 3 out of 4 affixes with pretty good rolls is pretty sweet.

@mindlessone Not sure how that happend. Just chose INT ring and that popped out. I use it for my LVL3 EXP runs stacked with a Leorics while my enchantress has the other hellfire.

I now have two rings. One of them I got with Khan's help and the other one I actually got from winning a mplvl 10 uber run from cdxliv's stream on Twitch.



First one I'm okay with. Second one is the one I got from the stream run, and I think it's complete garbage. Put it on my enchantress though.

i got a question.. kinda random unrelated to rings... but that reduction to impairing effects... does that include frozen?
lately i've been seeing lots of frozen affixes and they simply kill me, this could actually be kinda useful

Logically, I think it does. Since when you're using Wrath of the Berserker you can't get affected by any control effects, and that included frozen since my barb never gets frozen in Wrath. But who knows, I could be weird and it could be something weird.
