i'm curious to see what is considered a deal... i just bought some inna's pants for 9m and i thought it was a pretty good deal. not sure if my profile has updated with them yet...
on another note... check out this sad photo clickme found it on another site.. poor soul |
what did you buy, and how much did you get it for?

That photo is very sad ........... luckily I only use GAH and I do not need commas or spaces. Regarding deals, I think you mean when you buy something "much below market price", either from mis-judgement in setting prices, or mis-pricing, or from winning a low bid. I won't say my 400k inna helm is a deal since the others are as cheap. I will say my 2m off-hand was underpriced, and when I was done with it I resold it for 20m. |

Not sure if you would call this a good deal.
But I definitely like it at 13m.........it added a few Ks DPS and with the high MF I am able to switch out 2 of my MF gears. ![]() |

I think I overpaid for this............12 millions for a mere 5% SW. Oh well.
I didn't check the market for SW recently, my bad. Got too excited to find a 1D12hr item and it is hard to not press buyout. (someone please comfort me) ![]() |

NP I have gotten over it :P. I was in a hurry to transit from all MF gears with 186 resists to DPS/Resist gears. Spent another 30m to upgrade my mainhand. Not to say a very good deal, but I sort of value the extra vital at this moment since it allows me to distribute more DPS on my bracers and boots. ![]() |

how do you find these kinds of things?
i really wish you could monitor/buy/sell things for the AH via the web and not just in game.... i could make such better deals and decisions |

I often press sort to check both the latest items from 1D12hr and the shortest remaining items. No, it is still hard to make such better deals and decisions when everyone could monitor it via the web. |

I wanted to try the +7% crit bonus so bad......that I paid 12m+ for this.
No Vit, no off-resist, so it is quite far from BiS. However the life regen seems decent...what do you think? ![]() |

dude, i just found a pair, they could've been yours for free.99
you've got the ring too im assuming? i guess 12m is a good deal? i hope mine sell for as much |
![]() Posts: 411
I couldn't justify using those boots unless it had at least off-resist because the EHP from it is too low. In conjunction with a decent Nat's ring, it can sort of make up the difference, but it's just so much cheaper to use rare/Firewalkers boots and a rare ring. If the Nat's ring doesn't have CC, then really you're only getting AS and 2-3% more CC. A rare ring with high average damage, primary, CC, and CD can be found pretty easily.
I guess 12M is pretty cheap (I spent 24M on mine), but the best Firewalkers in the game can be had for much cheaper... |

>-< Free >-< Yes I got the ring too (with avg dmg, MF and little resist). I forgot how much I paid for mine, should be less than 20m. |
![]() Posts: 1445
I have been hunting for a better Nat's boots, but whenever I found a bargain someone flipped it and I see it relisted for 70% more in buyout!! Btw I thought I gained 7% more CC since my old ring has no CC and I get 7% from the set bonus, but I guess maybe you are saying 2-3% equivalent CC. |

So I looked at some of the profiles of the monks around here, and noticed most of them using Echoing Fury.
I go home and start looking for one with sock + (a) Crit Dmg or (b) Lifesteal or (c) LOH I also notice the prices are far above my current budget. Later on I go recheck, and what do you know, I find ![]() Put in a 27 mil bid, and then probably thanks to maintenance I win. Only... afterwards I noticed I completely forgot to add DEX to the search items. So now my monk is sporting a spiffy INT wpn. *sigh* Furthermore... how do you monks deal with the Fear. I do much more dmg now. The wpn gave me a boost of 16K dps, so was still worth it, but I spend so much time running after mobs that got feared. |

@Bort
Nice LoH + Socket!! You got a good deal............sigh on the intel though!......perhaps you can resell it at a profit when you can find a cheaper dex one without LoH and load offhand with LoH instead. Regarding the Fear, my personal experience: 1) White mobs at low MPs I usually one hit them, if they happened to be feared they will still die do my cyclone twisters, or when they re-converge back to me. 2) Elites I like to corner one into the wall and keep fearing them. It also saves me from avoiding some hits from them when they are feared. 3) White mobs at higher MPs When I solo farm I only farm lower MPs (up to 2). In my MP7 group uber runs, we have no problem with the fear. I think the important thing is we don't chase after feared mobs (except if you one to attack/ pin the uber), we often skip white mobs until we reach the next elite pack for NVs and kill them all together. When I solo farm, I practically just keep moving forward from point A to point B and kill mobs in between. I do not chase after feared mobs (I let them come back to me), or the 2-3 skeletons which are too off my path. In summary I think we should welcome fear as a form of a beneficial proc which reduces the incoming damage to us. Try not chasing after feared targets but fear them into walls/ sides. |
