Well, it's still really good for archon farming, and you didn't have to deal with the annoyance of a possible bidding war. Next time, maybe make a post and ask for some guidance if you get tired of searching :)

i'm now in the market for an ammy with the following stats (ias, CC, int, 500+ loh) preferably around 1-2m... is that an ok price?

@euggie It depends on if you need high rolls of IAS and CC. I was lucky enough to find my current one on a drop. If I remember right a couple weeks ago similar ammys were 5 mil+, but that could have been with LoH over 700.

I think 1-2 mil is a good price for what you mentioned as long as either IAS or CC have a decent roll (I prefer IAS here so you don't have to rely on as many legendaries). If you can't find one with INT, maybe try for VIT, AR, average damage, a socket, or +armor.

@euggie for a witching hour w/o AR or VIT/life%, having some +armor/INT as well as max IAS/CD definitely makes up for it as much as you could.
I like the rolls considering the price of the shoulder/bracers.
For the ammy I'd prefer higher IAS to CC% but still pretty nice.
Pretty sweet avg dam for a chant's with decent APoC - I think the price is decent for it.

thanks @sabin! i'm up to 2.66 aps with slow time and even with the follower it didn't improve it past the next tick, so i switched to scoundrel for mp6+ key farming, thanks for the hint

@euggie At 2.66 with stretch time, I think you might be over 2.50 without it. If that's the case, you should switch to the 20% damage rune, or teleport if you want mobility, since there's no break point between 2.50 and 2.73. Depending on whether your # is being rounded up or down, you might actually have a base of 2.49, in which case I'd suggest enchantress to get over 2.50, and the damage slow time.

im actually at 2.52 i think and 2.59 with enchantress (2.66 with slowtime and scoundrel) i should double check... but something like that...

yea i was thinking of switching to dmg rune to run thru a bit faster...

on a side note. i switched to glass canon on my archon build and im at 150k dps! so i started farming mp3 with relatively the same speed as i was doing mp2 :)
i think my next investment is going to be in some gems... in particular a ruby and maybe some amethysts for my pants plus helm for ubers... gotta start saving again :/

Because I got my WD to 60 finally, I bought some gear up, and I think I got some good deals. To see the picture bigger, just right click and click on open image in new tab.

Thing of the Deep was 300K, Knife was 1.5 million, Homunculus was 10K (lol), Zuni Mojo was 2.5 million, and the Triumvirate was 3 million.

@euggie Aren't you using chant's wand when doing CM? My estimate was because the 10% from slow time would give you .161-.165 depending on the wand APS. It's easy to calculate because the IAS rune doesn't stack with IAS from gear, it just gets added together.

Also, since you've got pretty good IAS and cc% now, try using bone chill instead of cold snap. I feel like I freeze fine with just evocation. Cold blooded + bone chill + time warp = 55% more damage for you, and 35% for any teammates.

just got this mempo for 350k BIN. OK stats aren't great but its for my backup barb character.. so i'll take it for that price!

I found this SoJ lying around in AH for 28 millions.



I did some calculation shown in the table beside it. It seems that although my paper doll DPS decreases, overall my SW damage should be more from the +8% SW damage, and the +29% bonus damage to elites means that I don't have to waste too much time on elites before moving on to kill white mobs. This is in addition to the spirit regen to fuel perma Tempest Rush and the cold damage which serves as a CC tool.

What do you fellow monks (@Metta?) think of it? Is my calculation correct (simply based on paper doll dmg)?

Armor could have been higher but what can ya do

Bought 13 Zuni Pox rings at an average price of around 600k and have re-sold 11 of them so far, with the best going for $2.49 on the RMAH, though I have one up on the RMAH now for around $3.99 that I'm hoping will sell (has an open socket and perfect gold find at 25%). Have turned a great profit on these.

Bought a Vile Ward on RMAH for $20. I forget the exact stats, but it had something like 260 dex, 37 vit, 47 FR, and 72 AR. Sold it for 120M gold, which is about $40 so that was a pretty sweet profit.

The funny thing is there are a bunch of VW for WAYYY cheaper (20-50M) with just slightly lower dex (245-250), but I think people were searching for for VW with 250+ instead of 240-249, so mine was actually the cheapest one available.
