Ok... just a technical point on the keyboard issue.
It might have to do with the keys you have bound to the skills. Keyboards have a very fancy way of detecting which keys are pressed by using scan codes. Without going into a total nerdy explanation it boils down to: your keyboard cannot detect certain key combinations. Mostly any 2 keys you keep down on the keyboard can be detected, but certain 3 key combinations cannot. *Edit. some old school gamers might remember this phenomenon called key-lock. It was always an issue when playing games like Mortal Combat with 2 players on one keyboard. For example on my keyboard I can hold down: s and x s and c x and c but not all 3 If I hold down s,x and c the keyboard physically cannot determine which key is held down, and does nothing until I release one of the three. Now D and F shouldn't conflict... but who know's how they wired the keys. Btw... what NightCrawler9 suggests will work fine. Because then you never actually keep all 3 down at once. |

Was just mentioning this in another thread, but perhaps more appropriate here as it's a "stupidly obvious thing" that many seem to forget: When selling things on the AH, always price your item for at least a bit more than what's being suggested to you by the game. Cause what the game suggests to you is the vendor price, & if it ends up selling for that amount on the AH, you've actually lost money on your item due to Blizzard's 15% cut.

To add onto above... Never sell a lvl 60 item for less thank brimstone price.
RE: keyboards When i was "hardcore" gamer many years ago I used to go and test out keyboards in store to make sure they could manage more than 2 keys before buying them lol. My favourite keyboard still is the old 'clickety click' Compac one. It makes a terrible/awesome racket when typing & gaming, I side with awesome. It must be almost 20 years old, and has 2 adapters to go from AT->Ps2->USB but is retired as just use my laptop these days. |

@Bort Interesting! Glad to hear a possible explanation why only some of us can hold 3 keys down.

@eastdragon42 are you saying that i should price my gem sales above the auto-recommended price? All this time...

@eleganthobo I can't tell if you're being sarcastic. When you put up an item for auction, not mat, the automatic opening bid price is the vendor price. If you want to make money on selling the item then if it gets only a single bid, you'll lose 15% of possible value from vending.
For mats, it automatically suggests either the current lowest value available or some average of the past few sales. It's up to you to know whether they will sell for more (or less) over time. Just this morning I put up 1700 Flawless Square Rubies and it suggested 720 per. I know they should go for at least 1000 so I manually put in 950 and they sold less than an hour later. |

Low velocity gems don't work as well, because they'll only sell one every 30 seconds or whatever. Within those 30 seconds, someone has put their gem 100 Gold lower than your suggested price and they jump ahead of you in line. If 2 people put up their gems in those 30 seconds now you're 3rd in line, etc. With high velocity gems, like Flawless square gems they can be selling more often than once per second. If there's even a 3-second gap where no one else puts up a gem under the suggested price, yours will sell. |

I hold down ASD. When I re-cast armor, I hold AWD. Seems to work fine either way.
Why do you have to spam 2 and 3? I thought your keyboard accepted 2 key inputs. Shouldn't you be able to hold 2 and 3 on the keyboard, hold left click, and just scroll the wheel? Or can you not hold shift to stand still if you do this? |

@sabin not sure if this is just restricted to me, but if i click and hold down the left button, it treats that as 1 input
then if i try and hold down 2&3, they dont go. however if i let go of the mouse, and just hold down 2&3 they will go... so its like either spam the keyboard, or spam my mouse, and i'd rather spam my keyboard (its not as noisy) i'm def open to suggestions... i would love for this to just be a key combination issue, and i would need to hold down awd or something |

I think it's partially a Diablo thing as well. I remember reading somewhere that Diablo only recognizes three input sources at most.

i was reading something similar over at reddit... you can click and hold down the mouse button to move... don't need to click click click to move :)
and there is something called election mode... which allows you to bind different skills to different slots |

Wow, first time I saw that other thread. That is *totally* awesome...!! Thanks for doing that, @Bort!! :)
hehee, thanks for answering this for me....I was originally worried myself that there was some sarcasm in the original reply to my comment, so I hesitated to say anything... |

Thought I would add this one:
When searching for certain items (Stone of Jordan, for example), the searching function will NOT allow you to sort by certain stats (such as Spirit Regeneration). The way to circumvent this issue is to search for all armor types and add a unique property of the Stone of Jordan (bonus damage to elites) and then also add spirit regeneration. There aren't any other items that have "bonus damage to elites" and "spirit regeneration", so you will only get SoJ. I believe this can be done for a few other items, although I don't know why "spirit regen" is missing from SoJ search criteria. |

As long as you use damage to elites = 20 it will show. It's because rings don't roll the char specific regen affixes except for certain legendaries. Was a little short sided on their part when tweaking the ah search.

@metta that is great as I tired of trying to sort witching hours based.on non searchable stats.
