Yip, I accidently discovered this on my first run, and now I always kill him off-screen with my DH.
As long as you can see the edge of the "slow missile" field you can hit and kill him easily. |
Stupidly obvious things people many not know

i'm not sure if they fixed this, and it may only help with HC, but in act 1, where you need to free all the skeleton warriors in the jail, you can click on the ones near the door, exit the game, resume, and you will have 1/5
rinse and repeat |

so apparently in the new patch, you can ID items while you're in the vendor window
haven't tried it myself, but just read it on reddit |

More of a tip than anything...if you're leveling alts and then deleting them, don't forget to remove your hellfire and leoric rings on them.

Good one, I remember leveling a second WD for God knows what reason and I had a sweet Thing of the Deep with -17 Requirements and around 200 Average Damage, I noticed this after deleting the character and wondering where the hell is the item. |

Assuming this was a recent mistake, you can undelete the most recent character. It's an arrow on the right side of the character selection screen.

Very unrecent...Oh, and don't forget followers with Hellfires and Leorics. I've done that too. |

I usually just pull up my battle.net diablo profile to see all my gear on a character before I delete it. Probably a good habit to get into.

another one, not sure if it's mentioned -- you can salvage unid items now. so be careful with those legendaries!

I always ID my items first, then send Auction worthy items to stash, then only visit the Blacksmith for salvage and repairs. Another one.....rarely used but I am a super lazy person. I wanted to transfer a gear from my DH to my monk. What I did is to auction the equipped item (make sure you put a ridiculous high bid and buyout) on my DH, then cancel it and send it to stash, then log on my monk to retrieve it from the stash. Save me a few steps of walk and a few seconds of logging lol. |

I don't think you even need to worry about the bid or B/O though because I believe it takes 5 minutes for the auction to appear. So as long as you cancel within 5 minutes, it didn't really exist on the AH. |

I don't believe this is true when you sort by time left. Unless something has been patched, you can see 1d12h when sorted by time left. I've sold a few items instantly. (Underpriced. :( ) |

I think it's you put up the item, and you have five minutes before it gets put up on the AH. Then it'll be on the AH with 1D12H for a second or whatever before going down to 1D11H |

It is 5 minutes, but just in case you need to be urgently AFK or similar emergency calls. Better be safe :)
