Ok boys - best flip EVAH - at least for me.

Purchased for 800k. I saw it as a 1 day 11 hr item and bought it at the 800k list price without even seeing the stats since the rings were going for around 1M - then i saw what i bought - wow.



Put it up at $19.95 - 2 days ago - no purchase.

Dropped the price to $18.95 - wham, bam, thank you mam, sold last night a few hours after i re-listed.

Take home was $17.95 - convert this to gold at 25cents (which it will be back to shortly) - selling price 71.8M

Profit - 71 MILLION.

Return on Investment - 8,975.00% !!!!!!

Damn, I though i was doing well with an roi of 600% when I flipped some bul kathos rings that i bought for 200k for $1.30 - but thats nothing compared to this sale. Holy CRAP.

I also think I may have a problem. I have way more rings than I have slots... but it's so hard to refuse a bargain on GAH i know I can make cash on. Oh dear.

3%CC puts it over 30m right now, I believe. The Int pushes it up some more. I'd say 35-40m right now, but the Pox rings are rising in price right now, so I could be wrong. The main things to price check would be the CC (3% is a minimum roll) and the 120 Int. Hope this helps!

The reason for the huge price on the ring was that it was +150 dex +150 int. In 2 months of flipping thats the first ring i saw with both of those stats over 150. The price was a guess - pure and simple guess as to what it would sell at but I figured it wouldn't go for more than $20 but I thought i'd come down to $12 or $13 before it would sell.

Also sold another one last night at the same price - this one I got for 15m - a +184 int, so it was a good night for high dollar rings - but no low dollar rings sold last night.

As for your ring - its worth a very good buck - i think its worth more towards the 50M mark than then 30M as most of the 3% rings come with an int +85 or so - that higher intelligence makes it worth more. That being said, those of us flipping the zuni pox rings are buying on the GAH and moving onto the RMAH to sell - and thats where we're really making our money is the RMAH - so if its worth 50M on the GAH- back that off at 25c/mil means price of $12.50 and then add in the $1.00 for blizz cut, so I would price it around $13.50 at a min - but then as @Zryoku16 says, for some unknown reason the price of zuni's has been rising instead of falling - so if you have a few days I would put a price on it of $19.85 with a buyout of $19.85 and then just drop down $1.00 a day until it sells - unless you get to $13 - then I'd move it over to the GAH.

I've pulled back a bit on the # of rings i'm buying on the lower end as I had the same problem back in december having bought about 40 rings. I'm down to an inventory of around 20 - so if I sell 3 overnight, then i'll buy 3 the next day - if I sell 5 overnight, then i'll buy 5 - trying to keep an inventory level of 20 ... that being said, if there's a bargoon - well then, i'll buy it.

I still can't believe that I was able to buy that ring for 800k. All rings that day were going for 1M - so when I sorted by time and saw an 800k ring i just immediatly bought it - never even looked at the stats as I knew I could make a profit from it - but that profit was just insane.

I myself have jump jumped into the big leagues. I finally got around to 200m (been upgrading gears) and decided to look at the higher up rings. I found a Nat's ring with 3% CC and 167 Dex for 120m at 1D11H. After some research, I found the only comparable ones were around 280m on the GAH and a 3% 150 Dex on the RMAH for $65. I decided to try for $80. Now to hope it sells!

Last night was slow - only 1 sale and it was a Bul Kathos that I got for 90k that I sold for $1.30 - nice ROI, but I've been averaging about 4 rings a day (between GAH and RMAH) and not one sold on the GAH last night.

most of my auctions come down around noon today, so I'm going to re-set now and see what happends. Typically I'll get a sale shortly after I re-post - not sure what triggers it - prboably bot that only looks at newly placed for sale items.

Just picked up a 142/146str + 19 %GF pox - any ideas on price?

The %GF pox doesnt do too much, as I had a 25%GF open socket zuni that took forever to sell. I started listing it at $4.99 as I figured perfect GF and socket would make it sell quickly. Dropped it to $3.99. Then $2.99 and I kept it at $2.99 for almost a month. Finally dropped it to $2.89 and it sold. A 19% one wouldn't make any difference here in pricing afaik.

As for the 142/146 - i assume thats 142 Int and 146 str. I would start that at $8.69 and move down a dollar a day until you get to $4.89 and stop there as that should sell for $4.89 at a minimum, even though it may take a few times through you should be able to get the $4.89 base for it. Now, if thats a 142 dex/146 str and 8? int, then I would start at $6.89 and go down to $3.89. If its 142 vit/146 str and 8? int, then what I would do is look up the lowest zuni that has +142 vit, then lookup any zuni that has 146 str, add those 2 rings together and then add another 50% on top of that, then convert that amount to real money from gold at a 25 cents exchange rate to get your starting price..

Spotted a bunch of rings last night but my gold balance is running low as I've not been wanting to cash out with the higher gold rate.

However had two low sales overnight a $2.50 & a $1.60 which was one of my low level ones i bumped up when gold went up so was happy to see it actually sell.

Only 1 zuni ring sold today - and that was a GAH ring for around 9M take home - purchased it for 5M, main stat was it was +23-60 for damage. Other than that, nothing. I wonder if it was because I got a bit greedy. I put the prices up of the higher quality rings about 25% of what I had been selling them for. I just knocked everything down by $1.00.

Did make 1 interesting buy this afternoon. Bought a zuni +22-41, +91 str, +184 Int, +72 vit, +70 AR, +33 CD for 39M - it was up for about an hour when I saw it there. Put it up on the RMAH for $29.89. Let's see if I got a good deal or what I'll end up with. Ultimately I think I can re-sell for 10 bucks, but I'm looking to triple my money on this one - so lets see what happens.

Busy weekend with the kids planned so I may not be on for any updates until Sunday night. Have a productive weekend all.

My best day so far, 2 more rings since last post so 4 in total and one was my first nat's sale which i was secretly hoping wouldn't sell and my DH would *have* to use it. Nevermind, it went for $3.50 so good profit in the bank off a 2M buy.

I bought a few rings today, pox with 140int, 34CD, 70AR for 1.6M, put it up for 2.49. It should go quickly. Also grabbed a 210int/160dex wailing host for 3M. As a player i think that's a really nice ring, specially for PVP. Haven't priced and listed yet but may hold out closer to patch time.

I'm going to have to look to move some gold across from RMAH, I'm down to 4M only! Trading price seems solid at 28c now :l

Picked this up for 2.5M, just re-listed it at 12.99 didn't sell at 13.99.

Since this is my first post in this fourm I want to leave a big thank you for this community and especially everyone who kept this thread alive. Your tips made me earn my first 100 million (huge amount for me since bought Diablo 3 about 3 and a half weeks ago). On-topic following...

I would put that up for somewhere around 7. If it doesn't sell at that price then drop it down incrementally untill you get a fish on the hook.

Agreed with @Baldy - price it either at $7.95 or $6.95 and move down from there. You *may* be able to get a bit higher than that, but i'm not sure how much, as the int is only 140.
