PC - Pox Ring

I bought a new Natalya's Reflection ring on bid the other night for around 1.4 million gold with better stats than my current one, & so I put my old one up on the AH w/ a buyout of 2.2 million & it sold in less than half an hour (so 1.87 million gold after Blizzard's cut). Happy with the small profit, I decided to take this money & see if I could flip another such ring.

Unfortunately, when I tried to snipe another Natalya's ring that had <1 min remaining for about 1.7 million gold, I got the Blizzard warning about "heavy server load"... & the ring was stuck in "Authorizing" on the Auction tab. The gold was deducted from my account, the ring never made it into my stash, & the transaction ID was nowhere to be seen in my completed section (i.e., it didn't say either "Purchased" or "Outbid")... :-0 I was like, WTF? I opened a ticket with Blizzard & they said to give it five days. Argh...

This buggy, laggy AH is going to drive me crazy... :(

Getting back into RMAH 3 tonight after a heavy workload the last couple weeks and found this beauty for 47m. Closest I can price it is about $60-100. Put it up at $100 and I'll drop it a dollar a day :P

Very, very nice pickup @ZRyoku16.

It was a busy day yesterday for low end items - sold 6 of them sub $3.00. One sold for $9.89 (180int zuni).

In Vegas for the superbowl (and work) - so I just re-listed everything that was going to expire later today.

G/L today guys.

Good weekend for me, I was away for all of it so I reset everything on Friday before i left and had 4 sales on friday night. No jewellery sold though.

Slowly relisted things this evening and 1 ring went as soon as I put it up.

Usually get a bunch of sales when I wake up monday morning (which is Sunday PST) so fingers crossed that happens again.

My balance was sitting at just under $40 all from small flips, so I rewarded my self by buying a Vile Ward from RMAH (my first $ buy apart from gold!) & I paid 3.50 for which i thought was a great deal. WD is rocking it now :)

Gotta treat yaself every now and then!

Sold 2 $5.00 Nat's and a $1.90 Zuni today so far. Pretty good for just jumping back in yesterday. :P

@baccarat0809

Have fun in Vegas! And good luck on any gambling you do while you're there!

Just sold a ring i got for 300k for $1.51, love those sort of flips.

Noticed low end items on GAH seem to be 300K or so cheaper than last week, even lots of pox are sitting there for 700-1M range.

I just traded out 8M and stocked up :)

I loves me some red exclamation points!!

Some may notice that there is a lack of sharing going on from me with regard to my flips. This is intentional. I feel the same way alot of peeps here do about sharing info with the interwebs and having the market get saturated. That being said, I feel if there is a private forum for members in good standing, we can maximize profit by sharing ideas and make the most of this AH/RMAH experience.

ALL HAIL THE FLIPPERS!!

(YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!)

@Baldy - I don't think anybody has a problem with you not sharing.

Personally, i had no problem with the zuni market as I think having a few extra people in there actually helped support the market as I can't be on 24x7 looking for a deal - and most importantly stopping somebody who is willing to pay $30 from only having to pay $3. By having a few people flippin the zuni's we've been able to artifically control the market for a while - but that may be starting to come to an end now we're seeing prices falling pretty drastically right now.

The nice part is that there are so many potential places to mkae money flipping, now that we have experience - its great opportunity for us.

I'm doing really well over the past 2 weeks with sales almost every day between 2-6 items. These are all small flips but that's fine by me as I prefer a higher velocity rather than hoping for a big flip and sitting on items for weeks.

My favourite emails to get at work.. although not being able to list fresh items sucks!

Trading in about 6 different markets as well now and they all seem to ebb and flow in various ways, it allows me to move in and out where opportunity arises but I'd love more slots.. is it as simple as purchasing another d3 copy? Might have to see where I can get this cheapest.

I have some ideas to run past everyone when the forum is up, or we can start doing it via PM.

Ended up selling 7 items yesterday, a new record!

Shame I was at the football last night (England vs Brazil!!) and got home too late and didn't manage to re-list any items so no sales for me today :(

@ninjax

Congrats on getting 7 items sold - wow. If thats all on the RMAH you broke my record of 6 - but damn the only reason that I was able to sell 6 that day was that I basically had 20 items available that day as i sold a bunch then relisted others as soon as the earlier items were sold off.

Bought a high dex & average damage jewellery today with CC/CD/LoH for 18M today, going for my biggest flip yet :) Fingers crossed!

If it doesn't work, I'm sure my DH can find a home for it...

Here's an idea of my sales recently, few gaps but some are cause I've been away & not re-listed.

Just picked up this little beauty overnight...pretty hefty pricetag, but, I have had luck in the past selling high INT/VITA Pox's so I'm giving it the old college try, yet again!!

Opening list is: $49.99/$49.99 buyout

Wow goodluck @Baldy, it is a damn sweet ring.

Very slow weekend for me with only 1 sale so far, my worst for a very long time. Odd after a good 2 weeks or so! Sunday night I usually get a lot of sales so fingers crossed.

I'm wondering if I'm getting priced out because almost all low end items have lost about 500K or more in price on GAH in the last week.

Food for thought, will see how this week pans out.

Haven't had any sales in the last week except for one small one for 4€. I have bought several Zuni and Nat rings in the last two weeks, ranging from low to high(er) end (I think at least), which aren't selling at all. So people are either all on PTR or they just don't want my jewelry.

Either way, my latest (future flip) investment for 29 million

Anyways I'm curious about how many people acutally spent their last weeks on PTR. I'm wondering about whether it's actually that attractive for players to spent that many days on PTR as I've heard you are not able to switch back to live servers for one week. Please correct me if I'm wrong here since I have literally no experience with PTR.

Good luck on your sales, dear fellows!

The PTR and Live server are completely separate, the PTR is just a walled garden to test patches out on. It has absolutely no effect on the real server, and after each PTR the data is deleted.

Trying another larger flip with CC, this time a Pox which I thought was under priced at 20M. Ones with only 3% CC on RMAH for $12 so have put this up for $11.

Think Blizz would have trouble holding this up in court?

11. RESTRICTIONS AND CONDITIONS OF USE.
B. You will not:
(iii) use the Auction Houses as an investment vehicle

Also didn't realise that you can't withdraw your balance to PayPal. You must select this as you're listing an item.

No biggy for me but wasn't sure everyone knew this.

Sold!

Took a re-list but I got it. Also sold a nats I got for 1M for $3.99 and a few other smaller sales as well. In terms of numbers of sales this is a slow week but I've finally sold some high priced stuff. Love it.

EDIT: wow looking on GAH now 3.0 CC rings are now starting at 35M and I got a 3.5 for 20. Crazy the fluctuations that are going on right now! What matters is that I got it at X and sold it for profit.
